What is this?
We meet at the Village Tavern parking lot.
After the run we will tailgate or meet at a members home (TBD).
If you run an 11:00 pace or slower, some of these runners will be starting at 8:30 to get a head start and get to the party on time. If you want or can only do a shorter distance, you can just go out & back on Cuba Road. If you can’t run and want to go for a nice walk.
For your convenience, the Alpine Runners supply water and Gatorade at miles 3 and 7 on the course! The 3-mile stop will be located at 21370 Andover Road and the 7-mile stop will be on the south side of Cuba Road at the entrance into the first street just about ¼ mile east of Quentin on Cuba Rd.
If you need directions of the course print this:
Start from the Village Tavern parking lot - Left on Old McHenry Road - Left onto Cuba Road, Stay on Cuba Road for a long time. (If doing a six mile run, stay on Cuba to Quentin, turn around and go back the way you came.) -Still on Cuba - Left onto Hickory Hills (this is the Farmington subdivision entrance) - Quick Left onto Andover - Right onto Middleton - Right onto Long Grove Road - Right onto Buffalo Run (this is the last street before you get to Route 12) - Buffalo Run becomes Linden Lane, which will curve to the right - Left onto Grove Road - Left onto North Boschome Drive - Right on Quentin - Right on Cuba - Cuba back to Old McHenry - Right on Old McHenry to the Village Tavern for the T
